Mr Robbie Walker

Robbie Walker is an experienced consultant ophthalmologist specialising in retinal surgery, cataract surgery and emergency ophthalmology.

Retinal surgery includes treatments for macular holes, epiretinal membranes, retinal detachments and floaters. He is also a high volume cataract surgeon, specialising in both routine cataracts with premium lens technology allowing less reliance on glasses, and complex cataracts requiring combined cataract and retinal surgery. He is frequently referred patients by his ophthalmology colleagues for his advanced surgical skills and has operated on the family members of several of his colleagues.

Mr Walker was an academic scholar at Oxford, where he also obtained a sporting ‘Blue’. He was also the Dean’s scholar at Imperial College where he undertook his Masters degree in surgical education, underlying his commitment to train surgeons of the future. He has held consultant positions at both the Western Eye Hospital where he was the clinical lead for emergency ophthalmology, and Moorfields Eye Hospital.
