Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (ESS) is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat a variety of chronic sinus conditions by restoring normal drainage and ventilation of the sinuses. Are there any external incisions?
No. The procedure is performed entirely through the nostrils using an endoscope, so there are no visible external scars.
